Each Fall, near Halloween, we have a costume fish fry and a trunk or treat.  That is, the kids go around to the car trunks to get some treats.  This activity is lots of fun and a great way to let the kids participate in the seasonal festivities in a safe, controlled environment.  There are always a few "surprise" costumes from the more creative among us!
